Avenues Vocational & Employment Services of Hazleton is sponsoring an exclusive Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Networking Mixer on Thursday, March 16th from 5 pm to 7 pm. The mixer will take place their facility which, is located at 600 South Poplar Street in Hazleton.
Chamber members, their employees, co-workers and guests are invited to this free, casual, after-hours event, which provides a networking opportunity for the Greater Hazleton Area business community.
Everyone who attends has the opportunity to meet the teams of Avenues Vocational & Employment Services, Adult Training Facility and HARP (Hazleton Avenues Rehabilitation Partners) and hear about the services they provide. Facility tours will be offered to view their operations and everyone will hear more about two of their upcoming events, including their 5K Duck Dash & 1 Mile Waddle taking place at the Greater Hazleton Rails to Trails on Sunday, April 2nd and their 29th Annual Duck Race taking place at Wal-Mart in St. Clair on Sunday, April 30th.
A special offer for all attendees also includes free shredding services. In order to promote one of the many services offered at Avenues, attendees are encouraged to bring along their confidential and/or personal documents to have shredded. The first pound of shredding service is free and seventeen cents thereafter.
Complimentary hors d' oeuvres, beer and wine will be provided to all who attend and everyone is encouraged to bring along extra business cards for networking and also to be entered to win several doorprizes.
