Chamber Recruiting Volunteers for the "Great American Cleanup in Greater Hazleton"

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce, along with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will once again sponsor the "Great American Cleanup” campaign. The one-day cleanup will be conducted Saturday, April 22nd.

If volunteer groups cannot pick up on the 22nd, they can gather either on Friday the 21st or Sunday the 23rd. Groups are asked to leave bags along the cleaup route and PennDOT and local municipatlies will pick up the bags on Monday, April 24th. Garbage bags, safety vests and gloves are provided to all the volunteer groups and can be picked up at the The HUB, the week of April 17th to the 21st from 10 am to 5 pm at 15 W. Broad Street, Hazleton, PA 18201 (across the street from the Chamber office).

Chamber Webinar for Employees on the Benefits of Hiring Heroes

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering an informational session, which will be presented by the Hazleton Careerlink on the Benefits of Hiring Heroes. The session will be held via zoom on Wednesday, March 29^th from 1 pm to 1:45 pm.

Chamber Woman’s Networking Luncheon Set

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is holding their third woman’s networking luncheon program for 2023 Tuesday, March 28^th from 12 noon to 1 pm at Damon’s Restaurant, 10 Woodbine Street, Hazleton. The event is being sponsored by Posture Interactive and it is open for any woman to attend.

The program will begin promptly at 12 noon and will include a lunch buffet. Our guest speaker is Kathryn Bondi, Digital Design Manager from Posture Interactive and she is presenting on The Secret Social Media Sauce.

Face the evolving world of Facebook, attendees will get instant Instagram tips, and learn what makes TikTok tick in this fast-paced and fun session. We'll discuss what true engagement looks like on each platform and help determine which platform is best for you or your business.

Chambers Women’s Committee Seeking Businesses to participate in 16th Annual Ladies Night Out

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking committee is currently seeking businesses to display their wares in their exclusive 16^th Annual Ladies Night Out. The event, sponsored by Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton, will take place on Wednesday, April 19^th from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Four Blooms Restaurant in Drums.
