PennDOT will host a telephone town hall on Tuesday, May 25 at 6:00 PM regarding the PennDOT Pathways Alternative Funding PEL Study. The public is invited to call in and share their comments live.
The PennDOT Pathways Alternative Funding Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) Study identifies near- to long-term transportation funding alternatives to help close Pennsylvania’s transportation funding gap. The draft PEL study is now available for viewing and can be found on PennDOT's on-demand public meeting website (accessed via penndot.gov/funding).
Those interested in attending the town hall can preregister on the Pathways website here to receive a phone call to join at the start of the meeting, or dial in directly to the meeting at 855-756-7520, entry code ext: 73539#.
Public comments can be submitted through a number of channels between now and June 1, 2021. In addition to the public meeting website and town hall, comments can be submitted via email at or via PennDOT's hotline at 717-325-6129.

The Greater Hazleton Chamber is continuing with the chamber’s legislative series in its virtual format with PA Senator John Yudichak, representing the 14th Senatorial District, who will address the business community on Thursday, May 20, at the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Red Carpet Virtual Breakfast program.
Senator Yudichak will discuss the most up-to-date information on the pandemic mitigation and vaccine efforts and business and industry-related news affecting Greater Hazleton, as well as transportation issues. Attendees will also have the opportunity for a question and answer session at the end of his presentation. The breakfast program is sponsored by Barry Isett and Associates.
