The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is holding their first woman’s networking luncheon program for 2022 Tuesday, February 22nd from 12 noon to 1 pm at Top of the 80’s Restaurant in Hazleton. The event is being sponsored by MMI Preparatory School and it is open for any woman to attend.
“The woman’s networking committee is very excited to continue to offer our luncheon programs for 2022. We will continue to keep our topics up to date and related to women and business.” explains Leann Fallabel, Vice President of Marketing of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce.
The program will begin promptly at 12 noon and will include lunch. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Patricia Rodriguez-Hudson, CRNP, Founder/Director of Country Heart Farm and the topic will be The Importance of Self Care.

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is seeking businesses to participate in the 2022 Greater Hazleton Job Fair set for Thursday, March 24th . The job fair will be held at the Laurel Mall Route 93 in Hazleton from 10 am to 4 pm.
This one-day event, will provide participating businesses with an informal, yet confidential forum to discuss career opportunities and options with hundreds of individuals from throughout the entire Greater Hazleton Area. Participating employers may accept resumes, offer information about career fields and employment opportunities, conduct interviews, promote your business and also seek for interns, summer employment, full and part time positions.
The cost for businesses to participate is $300.00 for Chamber members and $400.00 for non-Chamber members. The price includes an 8’ x 8’ booth space with side and back drops, a 6’ skirted table, two chairs, wastebasket, company identification sign, coffee and donuts in the morning and electric service (if requested). Lunch tickets may be purchased for $15.00 each. Lunch will be catered by Frankie’s Restaurant.

The Greater Hazleton Chamber is happy to announce the kick off to the 202 hybrid Red Carpet Breakfast which will happen on January 27, 2022. The honorable Mayor Jeff Cusat will update the business community of past year and coming year in the City of Hazleton. Attendees will also have the opportunity for a question and answer session at the end of his presentation. The breakfast program will take place at The Pines Eatery, 8 west Broad Street, Hayden Towers, Hazleton 18201.
The program will begin at 7:45 a.m. and conclude at 9:00 a.m. A full breakfast will be served at the upcoming breakfast program for a $20 fee for chamber members and a $25 fee for non-chamber members. This will be the first charge for those attending via the zoom, with $5.00 for members and $10 for non- members. Please note that due to Covid Restrictions there is a limited number of in person registrations, and No registrations at the door will be taken. The event is being sponsored by Penn State Hazleton and it is open for any woman to attend.
The program will begin promptly at 12 noon and will include lunch. Our guest speakers are William Andahazy, Entrepreneurship Education Coordinator and Fermin Diaz, Entrepreneurship Facilitator at Hazleton LaunchBox supported by Pasco L. Schiavo, Esq.
They will discuss the Hazleton LaunchBox, which is part of Penn State’s Invent Penn State program, a Commonwealth-wide initiative to spur economic development, job creation and student career success. They will discuss women in entrepreneurship, recently launched women-owned businesses, and ongoing and future programming provided by the LaunchBox. A brief tour of the facility will immediately follow.
Dooprize drawings including, a free lunch for the next program and the opportunity to give an introduction of your business at the event will be drawn. Women are encouraged to bring along promotional items, such as business cards, brochures, giveaways, etc. to display on our business resource table.
