A job fair for dislocated DBi workers will be held this Friday, October 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Hazleton LaunchBox, 15 West Broad Street in Downtown Hazleton.
More than 15 companies will be on hand to discuss their openings. Free parking is available in the city lot at 32 North Wyoming street, across from Frankie's Pizzeria.
Representatives from Unemployment Compensation, PA CareerLink, and the Greater Hazleton United Way
will be on site to answer questions.
Attendees are required to wear masks and follow all CDC guidelines.
The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of their Annual 2021 Business and Community Awards. In an attempt to help promote October as “Chamber of Commerce” month, the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce will hold a special awards luncheon, sponsored by Community Bank, NA, to recognize the winners of the awards. The luncheon will take place on Thursday, October 28th at 11:45 am at Edgewood in Drums. The cost of the luncheon is $25 per person.
