Chamber Woman’s Committee is Hosting a Year Long Life Skills for Young Women Series – Begins Thursday, January 28

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee created a brand new monthly series that is open to all young women, called “Get It Girl” Series: Life Skills for Young Women. The first session is being held Thursday, January 28^th at 3:30 pm.

“The ‘Get it Girl’ series resulted from a committee discussion on how professional women can share their experiences with younger women in our community”, explains Kim McNulty, Chamber Women’s Networking Committee Chair. “It was wonderful to see the excitement of our members as this series came together in just a few short days. The series will help supplement our Annual Women’s Empowerment Grant. The grant, which is awarded each year to women who are currently employed and want to advance in their career through education or training, is made possible through proceeds we collect at our Women’s Networking events throughout the year, but we wanted to do more”, Kim continued.

Chamber Hosting Webinar Series Featuring Careerlink Services for Employers

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering a 3-part webinar series featuring PA Careerlink Services Series for Employers, with the first session beginning Tuesday, January 26^th.

The series is offering three free half hour sessions with a different topic. You can attend one, two or all three. All employers are encouraged to attend to see what type of services the Careerlink has to offer your business, whether you are a large industry or a small family-owned business.

Chamber Hosting Webinar on Developing a Sales Playbook

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering a webinar entitled Developing a Sales Playbook on Tuesday, January 26th.

A Sales Playbook is a customized, repeatable, and scalable sales growth engine. It defines and supports the sales process and actions necessary for predictable and measurable sales growth. As the CEO / Sales Leader of your organization, it is imperative to have the toolkit or the guide for your sales rep(s) to be successful (increase in revenue). In this Lunch And Learn webinar you will learn the benefits and best practices in having a Sales Playbook (especially when selling in a ‘virtual’ environment): 1.) The best digital sales tools to reduce sales cycle times; 2.) Virtual sales prospecting best practices; 3.) How to onboard new sales hires virtually and get the required sales results; 4.)
