The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering a seminar entitled Sales: Have the Rules of the Game Changed (Again)? on Wednesday, January 23rd.
In the world of sales, many of the processes for customer relations and lead-to-sales have changed. But has your sales program and sales representatives kept up with these changes? With a combined 45 years of experience, Tony Kanak and Dale Rothenberger will team up to discuss this changing market for sales. Join us as we discuss these changes, along with what buyers say they want from their vendor partners.
The seminar will take place on Wednesday, January 23rd from 8:30 am to 11 am at the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce office, located at 8 W. Broad Street, Mezzanine Level, in Downtown Hazleton. Registration is $10 for Chamber members and $15 for non Chamber members. Liberty Tax Service in West Hazleton is hosting the first exclusive Networking Mixer for members of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce in 2019. All members, their employees, co-workers and guests are invited to attend the event scheduled to take place on Wednesday, January 9th from 5 pm to 7 pm at Liberty Tax Service which is located at 235 West Broad Street in West Hazleton. This event is free to attend and offers a, casual, after-hours networking opportunity for the business community.
Attendees will enjoy an array of complimentary hors d’ oeuvres and cocktails, meet the owner and team at Liberty Tax, and hear about all of the services they have to offer you, your business and employees. Bring your business cards in order to be entered to win doorprizes.

The Greater Hazleton Chamber will be hosting a December Red Carpet in our legislative series. Starting on January 1, 2019 our area will be part of the newly drawn 8th Congressional District. Rep. Matt Cartwright will be our new representative in the Washington DC. Congressman Elect Cartwright will discuss legislation affecting the Greater Hazleton area community. Attendees will also have the opportunity for a question and answer session at the end of his presentation. The breakfast program is sponsored by the Standard Speaker, and will take place Friday, December 14t at Sand Springs Celebrations, 10 Clubhouse Drive, Drums.
The program will begin at 7:45 am and conclude at 9:00 am. A full breakfast will be served at the upcoming breakfast program for a $20 fee for chamber members and a $25 fee for non-chamber members. The Red Carpet programs are conducted monthly by the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce as a way of providing information to the local business community and offers new and expanded business networking opportunities. Attendees are encouraged to participate in the business card drop for a chance to win a free breakfast.
