The Greater Hazleton Chamber will be hosting a December Red Carpet in our legislative series. Starting on January 1, 2019 our area will be part of the newly drawn 8th Congressional District. Rep. Matt Cartwright will be our new representative in the Washington DC. Congressman Elect Cartwright will discuss legislation affecting the Greater Hazleton area community. Attendees will also have the opportunity for a question and answer session at the end of his presentation. The breakfast program is sponsored by the Standard Speaker, and will take place Friday, December 14t at Sand Springs Celebrations, 10 Clubhouse Drive, Drums.
The program will begin at 7:45 am and conclude at 9:00 am. A full breakfast will be served at the upcoming breakfast program for a $20 fee for chamber members and a $25 fee for non-chamber members. The Red Carpet programs are conducted monthly by the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce as a way of providing information to the local business community and offers new and expanded business networking opportunities. Those in attendance will also be introduced to the services that the event sponsor, Standard Speaker offers prior to Congressman Cartwright address. Attendees are encouraged to participate in the business card drop for a chance to win a free breakfast.
Fyzical Therapy & Balance Center at Hazleton is hosting an exclusive Networking Mixer for members of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce. All members, their employees, co-workers and guests are invited to attend the last networking event in 2018, scheduled to take place this Monday, December 10th from 5 pm to 7 pm at the their location inside the Church Hill Plaza on Route 309, 1077 N. Church Street in Hazle Township. This event is free to attend and offers a, casual, after-hours networking opportunity for the business community.

The Hazleton area business community and chamber members and guests are invited to take part in the 23rd Annual Greater Hazleton Holiday Social, which will take place at the BB&T located at 12 E. Broad Street in Downtown Hazleton on Thursday, December 6th.
The mixer, coordinated by the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce will provide a unique opportunity to share holiday spirit with friends, neighbors and colleagues from the local business community.
The mixer will feature hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and prize giveaways. The event is being sponsored by BB&T and attendees will hear about the services BB&T provides to businesses as well as individuals. The activities will begin at 5:00 PM and conclude at 7:00 PM.

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is holding their final woman’s networking luncheon program on Tuesday, November 27th from 12 noon to 1 pm at Bonanza Steakhouse, located 574 Susquehanna Boulevard in Hazle Township. The event is being sponsored by CAN BE and is open to all women in Greater Hazleton.
The luncheon is the sixth and final in a series of luncheon programs for 2018. The luncheons were held every other month. The series is scheduled to being again on January 29th, 2019. The program begins promptly at 12 noon and includes a buffet style lunch. The luncheon will feature a fashion show provided by Fashion by Bella Boutique, showing all the latest fashions for the late fall season and upcoming holiday season featuring blouses, dresses, accessories & more!
