Providence PlaceProvidence Place Senior Living is sponsoring an exclusive Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Networking Mixer on Tuesday, September 19th from 5 pm to 7 pm. The mixer will take place their facility which, is located at 149 S. Hunter Highway, Route 309 in Drums.

Chamber members, their employees, co-workers and guests are invited to this free, casual, after-hours event, which provides a networking opportunity for the Greater Hazleton Area business community.

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering a seminar entitled Writing a Business Plan on Wednesday, September 27th.

Writing a professional business plan can be a monumental task since venture capitalists, those who will examine your plan, have great expectations. During this workshop, Maria Jacketti CEO of Mountain Laurel Copywriting and Content Creation, presents the audience with all the sections of a business plan that must be completed. She shows participants how to approach the task with concision, but without cutting corners. She will point out all the pitfalls that could get any business plan thrown into the garbage.

womens luncheon sept promo resizedThe Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is holding their fifth in a series of woman’s networking luncheon programs for 2017, Tuesday, September 26th from 12 noon to 1 pm at the Brass Buckle Restaurant in Conyngham. The event is open for any woman to attend.

The program will begin promptly at 12 noon and will include lunch. The guest speaker Linda Sentiwany, owner of Elsen & Company Jewelers and Gift Boutique, who will be presenting on fall fashion and accessory ideas. She will be having special guest models show and wear all her new and upcoming fall and winter lines including accessories, jewelry, sweaters and more.
