Hazleton Auto Trade Association to Sponsor 2017 Downtown Hazleton Classic Car Cruise-In

Downtown Hazleton Car Cruise In The 2017 Downtown Hazleton Classic Car Cruise-In will take place in Downtown Hazleton on Friday, August 4th (rain date August 11th) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Cruise-In, coordinated by the Downtown Committee of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce, is sponsored by Hazleton Auto Trade Association. “The Hazleton Auto Trade Association is excited to partner with the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce for this year’s car cruise” stated Matt DePrimo of Barber Ford, president of the association. “Together the association members have had over 250 years of membership with the chamber. We understand the importance of a strong chamber in our community and look forward to the opportunity to bring a family friendly event that also represents a chance for us to showcase our individual businesses. We hope to see you all for a fun summer evening.”

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering a seminar entitled Updating and Creating Web Content & How to Write a Press Release on Wednesday, July 26th. The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering a seminar entitled Updating and Creating Web Content & How to Write a Press Release on Wednesday, July 26th.

Maria Jacketti, CEO of Mountain Laurel Copywriting and Content Creation will take workshop participants through the basics of writing web copy and creating press releases. Jacketti will teach participants how to create tone and the appropriate writing style specific for the audience for each project. She will underscore the fact that good writers must become chameleons, continuously adapting to the needs of diverse audiences and projects.

Chamber Woman’s Luncheon Set for July 25th

Women's Luncheon The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is holding their fourth in a series of woman’s networking luncheon programs for 2017 Tuesday, July 25th from 12 noon to 1 pm at Martin’s Restaurant located at 301 E. Broad Street in West Hazleton. The event is being sponsored by Fyzical Therapy & Balance Center and it is open for any woman to attend. The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is holding their fourth in a series of woman’s networking luncheon programs for 2017 Tuesday, July 25th from 12 noon to 1 pm at Martin’s Restaurant located at 301 E. The program will begin promptly at 12 noon and will include lunch. Our guest speaker is Julie Burger, Sales Manager for Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram at Berger Family Dealerships.She will present on what women should know when it comes to the basics of car maintenance and service and tips and tricks that can use when purchasing or leasing a vehicle.
Dooprize drawings including, a free lunch for the next program and the opportunity to give an introduction of your business at the event will be drawn. Women are encouraged to bring along promotional items, such as business cards, brochures, giveaways, etc. to display on our business resource table.
