The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Human Resource Committee has announced their Twelfth Annual Human Resource Seminar. This seminar is geared toward anyone in the human resource field, as well as small to mid-size business owners or anyone else who is interested in learning more about the topics being offered. Four program topics include: “The Trump Presidency and Its Impact Upon Labor and Employment Law: Expectations and Speculations”, Opioid Addiction, Pitfalls in Plan Administration and Effective Performance Management.
The seminar is scheduled to take place on Thursday June 1st at Capriotti’s, One Banks Avenue in McAdoo from 9:15 am to 2:30 pm.
9:15 am to 9:30 am will begin check-in and registration. Then session one will run from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. The topic is “The Trump Presidency and Its Impact Upon Labor and Employment Law: Expectations and Speculations” and it will be presented by James P. Continuing with the chamber’s legislative series, State Senator John R. Gordner, representing Pennsylvania’s 27th District will address the business community on Thursday, June 8th at the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Red Carpet Breakfast program. He will discuss legislation affecting the Greater Hazleton area community. Attendees will also have the opportunity for a question and answer session at the end of his presentation. The breakfast program is sponsored by BB&T, and will take place at Valley Country Club, 79 Country Club Road, Sugarloaf.
The program will begin at 7:45 a.m. and conclude at 9:00 a.m. A full breakfast will be served at the upcoming breakfast program for a $20 fee for chamber members and a $25 fee for non-chamber members.
