The Hazleton area business community and chamber members and guests are invited to take part in the 21st annual Greater Hazleton Holiday Social, which will take place at The Pine’s Eatery & Spirits, 8 West Broad Street, Suite 50, downtown Hazleton on Thursday, December 1st.
The mixer, coordinated by the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce will provide a unique opportunity to share holiday spirit with friends, neighbors and colleagues from the local business community.

Officials from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will address the business community on Tuesday, November 15th at the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Red Carpet Breakfast program. The breakfast program will take place at Sister’s Restaurant, 789 N. Locust St., Hazleton.
The program will begin at 7:45 a.m. and conclude at 9:00 a.m. A full breakfast will be served at the upcoming breakfast program for a $20 fee for chamber members and a $25 fee for non-chamber members. FNCB Bank is sponsoring an exclusive Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Networking Mixer on Wednesday, November 2nd from 5 pm to 7 pm at their Downtown location, 340 West Broad Street. The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering Roadway Flagger Certification Training on Thursday, November 3rd.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Publication 213 requires that all individuals who have flagging responsibilities on ANY ROAD OPEN TO THE PUBLIC must be certified in compliance with the most current version of Publication 408, Section 901.3 Flagger Training. This requirement applies to anyone performing flagging duties on any public roadway in Pennsylvania.
