Heritage Hill Senior Living Mixer Heritage Hill Senior Living is sponsoring an exclusive Hazleton Chamber and Carbon Chamber Networking Mixer on Wednesday, September 28th from 5 pm to 7 pm. Heritage Hill is located at 800 Sixth Street in Weatherly.

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering a seminar entitle Cloud Computing Benefits for Your Business on Thursday, September 22nd. This free program will show you how to boost employee productivity by 33% and how the cloud can provide global access to your software and data 24/7 365 days a year. Attendees will learn how the Cloud saves companies money through lower IT and infrastructure costs. In addition, a live Cloud Technology demonstration on a variety of Lenovo’s newest computer systems will also take place.

Chamber Hosting Seminar on Getting Started With Email Marketing

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering a seminar entitled Getting Started With Email Marketing. Karl Stearns, a Constant Contact Platinum Solution Provider and Authorized Local Expert, will present this live, guided demonstration on the tools and features inside Constant Contact’s email marketing system. In this time-efficient, highly practical session, you will learn the basics so you can get going with your own email marketing, including: setting up your Constant Contact account; creating an email campaign and editing a template; branding your emails with your logo, colors and photos; creating content that people want to receive and read; importing your email list into your constant database; getting new subscribers by adding sign-up boxes to your website and emails and tracking and interpreting your results.

Chamber Announces 9th Annual Tastes of Greater Hazleton Event Slated for October 16th

tastes promo resisized The Community Awareness Committee of the Greater Hazleton of Commerce announces the 9th Annual Tastes of Greater Hazleton. The event will feature a sampling of signature dishes and products from twenty restaurants and businesses from throughout Greater Hazleton.

It is open to the public and will take place on Sunday, October 16th from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm at the Health & Wellness Center at Hazleton, located at 50 Moisey Drive in Hazle Township. According to Anna Jean Onuschak, committee and event chair, “This has been a sell-out event since its inception, so we really encourage folks to purchase their tickets in advance, since typically we do not have many to sell at the door.”
