The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is hosting a seminar on Advanced Social Media Tips & Tricks. The program is being presented by SCORE of NEPA and Constant Contact and will take place on Thursday, May 12th from 11:30 am to 1 pm at the Chamber of Commerce office located at 20 W. Broad Street in Downtown Hazleton.
Jane Danish has been selected as the recipient of the 2016 Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Athena Award, sponsored by Berger Family Dealerships.
Jane is the Director of Community Relations and Colleague Recognition at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton. She has a successful healthcare career with over 35 years in positions with impact in the areas of administration, governance, marketing and community relations.
The 12th Annual Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Icebreaker Golf Outing will take place this Friday, April 29 at the Valley Country Club in Sugarloaf. The buffet lunch and registration for golfers begins at 11 am. The outing is a two-person scramble with shotgun start at 12 p.m.
Awards will be given immediately following the round of golf for championship and first and second flights and special awards will be longest drive, longest putt and closest to the pin.
Benigna’s Creek Winery inside the Laurel Mall in Hazleton will be hosting an exclusive Chamber Networking Mixer on Thursday, May 5th from 5 pm to 7 pm.
All Chamber members, their employees, co-workers and guests are invited to enjoy a casual, after-hours networking event, with the business community of Greater Hazleton. Attendees will enjoy samplings from their large selection of wines, as well as an array of hors d' oeuvres. Doorprize drawings will take place, including a chance to win two gift certificates when attendees drop their business card.
