Holiday Decorating Contest Winners Announced

Thank you to our holiday decorating contest prize sponsors and congratulations to all of our winners! Thank you to ALL who participated in the contest!

1st Place - Hayden Power Group received a $1000 advertising package courtesy of Magic 105.5 WMGH/AM 1410 WLSH.

2nd Place - Antonia's Jewelry & Repair received a $750 advertising package on The River 105.9 & 103.5 Radio.

3rd Place - Dream Big received a $500 advertising package for WYLN News.

4th Place - Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton received a $425 1/2 page ad in Panorama Community Magazine.

5th Place - MMI Preparatory School received a $350 Mix it Up Ad Package, 3 ads in 3 editions including a 1/2 page ad, a 1/4 page ad & an 1/8 page ad in The Anthracite Post Local Community Newspaper print & digital editions.

Peoples Choice Award, those who attended the women's holiday social voted and Hayden Power Group received 5 complimentary reservations for any Chamber Women’s Networking Luncheons in 2025.

Chamber Holiday Decorating Contest Open to All Members and Women’s Holiday Social Set

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is hosting a holiday decorating contest with media package prizes, and winners will be announced at the Women’s Holiday Social on Thursday, December 12th.

All members are encouraged to enter the annual decorating contest. Applications are due by Monday, December 9th. Applications are available on the Chamber website www.hazletonchamber.org or email to request an application. Prizes include: $1000 advertising package from your choice of Magic 105.5 or am 1410 WLSH Radio; $750 advertising package on The River 105 & 103.5 Radio; $500 advertising package for WYLN TV 35; $425 1/2 page ad in Panorama Magazine; $350 Mix it Up Ad Package, 3 ads in 3 editions including a 1/2 page ad, a 1/4 page ad & an 1/8 page ad in The Anthracite Post Local Community Newspaper print & digital editions; and 5 complimentary reservations for any Chamber Women’s Networking Luncheons in 2025.

Chamber Downtown Holiday Mixer Set for Members

Chamber members, their employees, co-workers and guests are encouraged to attend the Chamber’s Annual Downtown Holiday Mixer on Thursday, December 5th from 5 pm to 7 pm. The event will take place at the Hazleton Art League located at 31 W. Broad Street in Downtown Hazleton. There is no fee to attend, but reservations are required.

Share in the holiday spirit with the local business community! Spread cheer among old acquaintances and make some new ones. Enjoy hors d' oeuvres, desserts, beer & wine.

Last Chamber Woman’s Networking Luncheon for 2024 Scheduled for Tuesday, November 19th

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is holding their final woman’s networking luncheon program for 2024 on Tuesday, November 19^th from 12 noon to 1 pm at Capriotti’s in McAdoo. The event is being sponsored by MMI Preparatory School and the event is open for any woman to attend.

The program will begin promptly at 12 noon and will include a buffet lunch. The guest speaker is Marci Hosier, Director of Enrollment Management & Marketing/Dean of Students/Instructor for MMI Preparatory School. Ms. Hosier will present on AI "Artificial Intelligence" in Everyday Life. Attendees will learn about current applications for Artificial Intelligence and how it can be used in daily life from personal to business applications.
