Officials coordinating the Greater Hazleton Job Fair 2023 have announced that the event, scheduled for Thursday, March 23rd has 18 businesses participating to date and there is space remaining for additional businesses.

These businesses and institutions will be on hand to provide educational, career and employment opportunities for those in attendance. Local and regional businesses have signed up to participate in the one-day event, which will take place at the Laurel Mall in Hazleton.

Employers seeking to locate full, part time, temporary or summer workers will be on hand to promote their opportunities. The job fair is free to anyone seeking new or improved employment opportunities. The businesses and organizations slated to participate to date in this year's event include:

Consulate St. Luke's, EAM-Mosca, Hayden Power Group, Hazleton Careerlink, Integrity Staffing Solutions, International Paper - Hazleton Container, Johnson College, Magic WMGH 105.5, Mature Worker Program SCSEP Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne Wyoming Counties, Nucor Towers & Structures, OneSource Staffing, Pactiv Evergreen LLC, Polyglass U.S.A., Service Electric Cablevision Inc, St. Luke's University Health Network Miners Campus, Weatherwood Healthcare & Rehab, Wegmans Food Markets, and Workforce Resources.

Greater Hazleton Job Fair 2023 is being coordinated by the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce. Sponsors of the day-long program are the PA Careerlink Luzerne County, the Luzerne/Schuylkill Workforce Investment Board, Inc and CAN DO, Inc. Media partners include the Standard Speaker, Panorama Community Magazine, El Mensajero, The Printmark Group, SSPTV News, WYLN TV 35, Bold Gold Media and Magic WMGH 105.5.

The Job Fair will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and there is no charge for admission.

Space is still available for businesses to participate in the fair. The member rate to participate is $350 per booth and the non member rate is $500 per booth.
