The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is continuing to plan for the 28^th Annual Greater Hazleton Job Fair which will take place on Thursday, March 21^st at the the Laurel Mall in Hazleton from 10 am to 3:30 pm. The Job Fair provides a unique forum to help match people with new and expanded employment opportunities. Area employers seeking to locate full, part time, temporary or summer workers are encourage to participate in this one-day event. The deadline for businesses to register for the job fair is this Friday, March 15^th and space is limited.

The event is being coordinated by the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce. Sponsors for the day-long event include the Pennsylvania Career Link, the Luzerne/Schuylkill Workforce Investment Board and CAN DO, Inc. Media partnerships include the Standard-Speaker, Panorama Community Magazine, El Mensajero International, SSPTV News, WYLN TV 35, 911 Informativo, Media Center, LLC, Lex & Jennifer Sloot, Bold Gold Media, Magic 105.5 WMGH, Hazleton TV, Enfoque 570 and the Downtown Hazleton Alliance for Progress.

The event open to job seekers, and admission is free.

The Job Fair provides local businesses with an opportunity to meet with prospective new employees and take advantage of the informal setting to help fill current or upcoming job availabilities. All business participants will have a professionally set-up booth space at the event.
