The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is hosting their 16th Annual Ladies Night Out and all women from throughout the Greater Hazleton Area are invited to attend. The event, sponsored by Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton is being hosted by Four Blooms Restaurant in Drums is this Wednesday, April 19th from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
“The theme of the evening is networking, relaxation, shopping & self-indulgence, and we are inviting all women to attend this fun-filled, popular, one-night event”, explains Chamber Vice President of Marketing, Leann Fallabel.
Ten businesses are taking part in the event so far and spaces are still remaining. Businesses will be displaying their products and services, offering cash and carry items, providing demonstrations, offering samples of services, providing giveaways, coupons and much more.

The Greater Hazleton Chamber is pleased to present the next Red Carpet Breakfast for 2023 on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Mr. Brian Swetz , the acting county manager for Luzerne County will update the business community on things happenings in our immediate area as well as impacting the County as a whole. Mr. Swetz has been with the County for ten years and was the Budget and Finance Division Head before assuming the role of acting county manager last November. Attendees will also have the opportunity for a question and answer session at the end of his presentation.
The breakfast program will take place at Tom’s Kitchen , 656 State Route 93 located in Sugarloaf. The program will begin at 7:45 a.m. and conclude at 9:00 a.m. A full breakfast will be served at the upcoming breakfast program for a $25 fee for chamber members and a $30 fee for non-chamber members. In an effort to recognize the community service activities of volunteers in the upcoming Great Pennsylvania Cleanup, our local boroughts, municipalities, township and city will continue to support the cleanup efforts throughout Greater Hazleton which will take place on Saturday, April 22nd.
According to Leann Fallabel, Vice President of Marketing for the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce and cleanup coordinator, "without their support, the cleanup efforts would not be able to be done on such a large scale. Our group is one of the largest cleanup efforts in the state of Pennsylvania and everyone involved is to be recognized."

The first stage of the Greater Hazleton Area’s multi-municipal comprehensive plan has officially begun with the launch of its community-wide survey. Upon its completion, this comprehensive plan will become a blueprint for the community’s future with recommended actions relevant to the current and future needs of the Greater Hazleton community.
