The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is holding their second woman’s networking luncheon program for 2022 Tuesday, March 29nd from 12 noon to 1 pm at Damon’s Restaurant in Hazleton. The event is being sponsored by FNCB Bank and it is open for any woman to attend.
The program will begin promptly at 12 noon and will include lunch. Our guest speaker will be Miss Faberge, Owner of Faberge Follies Dance N Tumble who will present Posture Is Power.
Dooprize drawings including, a free lunch for the next program and the opportunity to give an introduction of your business at the event will be drawn. Women are encouraged to bring along promotional items, such as business cards, brochures, giveaways, etc. to display on our business resource table.
Additional luncheon programs for the remainder of the year have been set for Tuesdays, May 24th; July 26th, September 27th; and November 29th.
The cost to attend the luncheon program is $20.00 for Chamber members and $25.00 for non-Chamber members and the fee will be collected at the door. Officials coordinating the Greater Hazleton Job Fair 2022 have announced that the event, scheduled for Thursday, March 24th has 39 businesses participating to date and there is limited space remaining for additional businesses.
These businesses and institutions will be on hand to provide educational, career and employment opportunities for those in attendance. Local and regional businesses have signed up to participate in the one-day event, which will take place at the Laurel Mall in Hazleton.
Employers seeking to locate full, part time, temporary or summer workers will be on hand to promote their opportunities.
The job fair is free to anyone seeking new or improved employment opportunities. The businesses and organizations slated to participate to date in this year's event include:

The Hazleton Innovation Collaborative (THInC) announced that it is currently accepting applications for microgrants of up to $2,500 for any new and expanding food-based businesses who operate out of the Hazleton Kitchen Incubator in the Hayden Family Center for the Arts in downtown Hazleton.
The microgrants are being offered through the Truist Foundation, which announced last December that it awarded a $15,000 grant to the Downtown Hazleton Alliance for Progress, on behalf of the Collaborative, to provide financial support to culinary entrepreneurs participating in the partnership’s Kitchen Incubator Program.

The Greater Hazleton Chamber is pleased to present the second hybrid Red Carpet Breakfast for 2022 on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Senator John Gordner will update the business community on happenings in Harrisburg including the release of the Governors proposed budget for next year. Attendees will also have the opportunity for a question and answer session at the end of his presentation. The breakfast program will take place at Sand Springs Celebration, 10 Clubhouse Drive, Drums, PA 18222
The program will begin at 7:45 a.m. and conclude at 9:00 a.m. A full breakfast will be served at the upcoming breakfast program for a $20 fee for chamber members and a $25 fee for non-chamber members. There is also an option for folks to attending via the zoom, with $5.00 for members and $10 for non- members.
