The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Holiday Social will take place on Wednesday, December 14th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. This event is being hosted and sponsored by Hazleton Honda located on the Airport Road in Hazle Township.
The winners of the Annual Tree Decorating Contest will be announced. Prizes will be awarded to the judges choices and will include a “4Skip” one-month digital billboard advertising on Route 93 & 309, $600 value provided by The Media Group; an advertising package on The River 105 & 103.5, $750 value provided by The River 105 & 103.5 FM Rock Radio; SSPTV text video greeting including business name & address with holiday greeting, over $500 value; 1/2 page ad in Panorama Magazine, $425 value; Commercial Ad and Air time at WYLN, $500 value; and 5 complimentary Women’s Networking Luncheon certificates in 2023.
Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be provided and libations will be offered courtesy of T. Verrastro Beer Distributor Inc. In addition, businesses are asked to bring brochures, pamphlets, etc. that will be displayed on a “business resource table” so that others in attendance can learn more about your business.

Church Street in Hazleton. There is no fee to attend, however reservations are required.

The City of Hazleton is offering free parking in the Feeley Parking lot (entrance on N. Wyoming Street) and the Parking Garage (entrance on S. Wyoming Street).
The Chamber is proud to Partner with the City of Hazleton, CAN DO, Inc., the Downtown Hazleton Alliance for Progress and the Hazleton Area Public Library on a series of events taking place the same evening, which are open to the public. Community members are invited to ring in the holiday season with the City of Hazleton and its partners for a combined Holiday Celebration on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at City Hall Block – 40 N. Church Street, from 4 to 9 PM.
The Mayor’s Office is collaborating with CAN DO, the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Hazleton Alliance for Progress (DHAP), Hazleton Parks and Recreation, and the Hazleton Public Library to bring ‘The City of Hazleton’s Holiday Celebration’ to life. This family-friendly event will be an evening full of holiday cheer for all Greater Hazleton Area community members and their families.
The free event will feature food trucks and a holiday vendor market sponsored by DHAP. Vendors include Poppy Press; J Zapata; Flaming Jalapeño; La Tía Empanada; T-Soon Moon; Carola’s Bakery; A Sweet Duo; Pasapalos Times; Gigi Art; and Mels Crafting. The Hazleton Library will also hold a free holiday craft event that is available for all attendees, which along with DHAP’s market, will run throughout the evening until the close of the celebrations at 9:00 PM.
