Coordinated Health CEO Dr. Emil DiIorio will address the business community on Tuesday, October 18th at the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Red Carpet Breakfast program. The breakfast program will take place at The Pines Eatery & Spirits, downtown Hazleton.

The program will begin at 7:45 a.m. and conclude at 9:00 a.m. A full breakfast will be served at the upcoming breakfast program for a $20 fee for chamber members and a $25 fee for non-chamber members. Those who would like to attend should contact the chamber office at 570-455-1509 or register online at hazletonchamber.org by Friday, October 14th.

The Red Carpet programs are conducted monthly by the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce as a way of providing information to the local business community and offering new and expanded business networking opportunities.

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of their Annual 2016 Business and Community Awards. In an attempt to help promote October as “Chamber of Commerce” month, the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce will hold a special awards luncheon, sponsored by Luzerne County Community College, to recognize the winners of the awards. The luncheon will take place on Thursday, October 27th at 11:45 am at Genetti Catering in Hazle Township. The cost of the luncheon is $25 per person. Reservations are required by Friday, October 21st by registering online, calling the Chamber at 455-1509 or emailing .

Tastes of Greater Hazleton

The Community Awareness Committee of the Greater Hazleton of Commerce invites the public to attend the 9th Annual Tastes of Greater Hazleton, which will be held Sunday, October 16th from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm at the Health & Wellness Center at Hazleton located on 50 Moisey Drive in Hazle Township.

Event coordinators have announced that three cooking demonstrations will take place at the event and they will be provided by the Brass Buckle, Sand Springs Country Club and Top of the 80s Restaurant

According to Anna Jean Onuschak of Top of the 80s Restaurant, event chairwoman, “We are thrilled to feature these three very talented, local chefs and restaurant owners at our event. The attendees really look forward to seeing what they have to prepare and then having the chance to sample their dishes”

The event will feature a sampling of signature dishes and products from eighteen participating restaurants and businesses from throughout Greater Hazleton. Restaurants and their menus include:

Anniversary Membership CelebrationThe Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is kicking off October as Chamber of Commerce Month, and in doing so, they are holding an event to recognize several long-standing members who are celebrating a special anniversary with the organization in 2016. The 2nd Annual Anniversary Membership Celebration will take place on Thursday, October 6th. In addition to the businesses being recognized, as well as their employees, the entire Chamber membership is invited to attend. During this mixer-style event, each business will be recognized during a brief program and will also receive a gift from the Chamber. Everyone will enjoy complimentary hors d' oeuvres, beer & wine.
