The Fifteenth Annual Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Icebreaker Golf Outing will take place this Friday, April 26th at Eagle Rock Resort in Hazle Township. The buffet lunch and registration for golfers begins at 11 am. The outing is a two-person scramble with shotgun start at 12 noon. Awards will be given immediately following the round of golf for championship and first and second flights and special awards will be longest drive, longest putt and closest to the pin.

The Greater Hazleton and Schuylkill County Chambers of Commerce are once again joining together for an annual networking mixer being hosted by Mountain Valley Golf Course on Wednesday, April 17th. The mixer is being co-sponsored by Mountain Valley Golf Course and American Computer Associates. Mountain Valley Golf Course is located at 1021 Brockton Mountain Road in Barnesville. Chamber members can invite their employees, co-workers and guests to attend the event, which is scheduled to take place from 5 pm to 7:30 pm. This mixer is free to attend and offers a casual, after-hours networking opportunity for the business community.
The theme for this year’s event is “Celebrate Spring at Mountain Valley’s Polynesian Paradise”. All attendees will enjoy an array of complimentary hors d' oeuvres, beer & wine.
