"Steps to Starting and Growing Your Own Business” will provide detailed information for those seeking to become full-time or part-time entrepreneurs. There is no fee for any of the seminars and attendees can choose to come to any individual session or all sessions.

The team comprised of players from DBi Services with team members Bob Gorski, Randy Kurzinsky, Neal DeAngelo, III and Bobby Hillibush took the Chamber’s Championship flight award during the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce 51st Annual Golf Tournament held Thursday, August 16th at Moutain Valley Golf Course in Barnesville.
150 golfers took part in the tournament which featured trophies, prizes and awards valued at over $15,000.00.
Other winners in the tournament were: First Flight Winners representing Pete Keselicka State Farm included Pete Keselicka, John Woodring, Pete Koval and George Leitner. Second Flight Winners representing Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton included Raymond Bernadi, Michele Roberts, Jon Morell and Joe Goeck. Closest to the Pin was won by Bill Davison golfing with Innotek Computer Consulting. Closest to the Pin 2nd Shot on the Green was won by Jon Morell golfing with Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton. Women’s Longest Drive award was won by Susanne Cerone golfing with Lackawanna College and the Men’s Longest Drive award was won by Adam Korinchock golfing with T. Verrastro Beer Distributor. Rocco Colangelo Jr. sponsored the trophies for the winners and special competitions in honor of his father Rocco Colangelo, Sr. A cash prize was given to Andy Zubko who golfed with Eye Care Specialists who putted his way to the final $5000 putt attempt.

The rescheduled 2018 Downtown Hazleton Classic Car Cruise-In will take place this Friday, August 24, 2018 from 6 pm to 8:30 pm. The NEW location will in two parking lots in downtown Hazleton. The first being the empty lot located on Broad and Pine Street, across from Jimmy’s Hot Dogs and second being the municipal lot located on Chestnut Street between Wyoming and Pine Streets.
Free entertainment by “8 Traxx”, a 70’s and 80’s inspired band, will perform in the Pine Street parking lot. A chance to win prizes donated by AutoZone and various downtown merchants will take place.
