Chamber Mixer Slated for Wednesday, October 25th

Heritage Hill Senior Community is hosting an exclusive Networking Mixer for members of both the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce and the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, October 25th from 5 pm to 7 pm. Heritage Hill Senior Living is located at 800 Sixth Street in Weatherly. Chamber members, their employees, co-workers and guests are invited to this free, casual, after-hours event, which provides a networking opportunity for the business community.

Attendees will enjoy a wine and food pairing event featuring wines from Galen Glen Winery paired with delicious shrimp, beef wellington, dark chocolate mousse. Attendees are encouraged to bring along their your business cards to share with new contacts and for a chance to a leather bound executive desk set.

Tickets Available for Tastes of Greater Hazleton This Sunday

The Community Awareness Committee of the Greater Hazleton of Commerce invites the public to attend the 10th Annual Tastes of Greater Hazleton, which will be held this Sunday, October 15th from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm at the Health & Wellness Center at Hazleton located on 50 Moisey Drive.

Tickets are $18.00 in advance, online only at www.hazletonchamber.org and $20 at the door.

Three cooking demonstrations will take place at the event. Chef Rob Middleton from Top of the 80’s Restaurant will start things off, followed by Chef Steve Foley and Jerry Seiwell from Brass Buckle Restaurant and the final demonstration will be Renee Esposito Chirico from Alta Pizzeria & Pasta House.

The event will feature a sampling of signature dishes and products from sixteen participating restaurants and businesses from throughout Greater Hazleton. Samples will include:

Winners Announced for Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Business & Community Awards

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of their Annual 2017 Business and Community Awards. In an attempt to help promote October as “Chamber of Commerce” month, the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce will hold a special awards luncheon, sponsored by Community Bank, NA, to recognize the winners of the awards. The luncheon will take place on Thursday, October 26th at 11:45 am at Top of the 80’s Restaurant in Hazleton. The cost of the luncheon is $25 per person. Chamber Hosting Program on Being More Engaged at Work, Home & the Community

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering a program on Being More Engaged at Work, Home & the Community on Thursday, November 9th.

During this program presented by Mark Evans, he will cover the following points: Team Building, Cultural Diversity, and Giving Back to Your Community, Better Communications at Work, Work Life Balance, Smell Memories and Distractive Driving.
