The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering a program on Being More Engaged at Work, Home & the Community on Thursday, November 9th.
During this program presented by Mark Evans, he will cover the following points: Team Building, Cultural Diversity, and Giving Back to Your Community, Better Communications at Work, Work Life Balance, Smell Memories and Distractive Driving.
When we become more engaged at home, work and in our communities, great things begin to happen. Relationships flourish, your voice gets louder, and your opinions become more valued.
Mark Evans will share his unique personal stories and experiences to demonstrate how being more emotionally connected or engaged can make your life better. With so many distractions and demands, we can lose sight of the basics. He will ask you to consider recalibrating how you look at the basics of your day to day life.
The Thread of Life is where we can position the people, places, and events that accumulate from one year to the next. It is important to know the thread has a beginning and an end. Mark is a stage three cancer survivor, so he clearly understands there is an unknown end.
This program will take place on Thursday, November 9th with registration beginning at 8:45 and the program from 9 am to 10 am at The Pines Eatery & Spirits, Mezzanine Level conference room, which is located inside Hayden Tower at 8 W. Broad Street, in Downtown Hazleton. Registration is $20 for Chamber members and $25 for non Chamber members and includes a full continental breakfast.
