The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is holding their fifth in a series of woman’s networking luncheon programs for 2017, Tuesday, September 26th from 12 noon to 1 pm at the Brass Buckle Restaurant in Conyngham. The event is open for any woman to attend.
The program will begin promptly at 12 noon and will include lunch. The guest speaker Linda Sentiwany, owner of Elsen & Company Jewelers and Gift Boutique, who will be presenting on fall fashion and accessory ideas. She will be having special guest models show and wear all her new and upcoming fall and winter lines including accessories, jewelry, sweaters and more.

This program will explore how Physical Demands Validation (PDV) lead to a variety of safety tools including ergonomic, safety training, wellness and functional testing programs. Attendees will learn about the different types of functional testing programs, how each tests physical ability differently and how the clinical examination portion of the test may differ between types of programs. Each of these aspects plays an important role in mitigating risk. You will understand how PDV and Function Testing can help to decrease absenteeism and presenteeism, increase productivity, decrease injury rates and be an essential part of your safety and wellness strategy.

Continuing with the chamber’s legislative series, Hazle Township Supervisor and Chairman Jim Montone will address the business community on September 21st at the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Red Carpet Breakfast program. He will provide an update of the township’s current and future projects. Attendees will also have the opportunity for a question and answer session at the end of his presentation. The breakfast program is hosted by Bonanza Steakhouse, 574 Susquehanna Blvd., located across from the Laurel Mall in Hazle Township.
The program will begin at 7:45 a.m. and conclude at 9:00 a.m. A full breakfast will be served at the upcoming breakfast program for a $20 fee for chamber members and a $25 fee for non-chamber members.
