Chamber members, their employees, co-workers and guests are invited to attend the first Chamber networking mixer for 2024. Attend this after-hours event with the business community. Join Partners in Education as they launch their "Career Connect" Healthcare Webapp on the BIG screen, which features interviews from Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton medical professionals. Be the first to check out this excellent tool, which will be used to connect the healthcare industry to students.

This event is sponsored by Greater Hazleton Partners in Education with the support and collaboration of Lehigh Valley Health Network Hazleton and VizVibe. It will take place at the Cinema Drafthouse so all can enjoy the preview the launch on the “Big Screen”. Cinema Drafthouse is located at 31 W. Broad Street in West Hazleton and the mixer will be from 5 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday, January 31st.

Everyone will enjoy an array of complimentary hors d' oeuvres, including a gourmet popcorn station, a complimentary beverage and refreshments.  No fee is required to attend the event, but reservations are required. The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is holding their first woman’s networking luncheon program for 2024 Tuesday, January 30TH from 12 noon to 1 pm at Top of the 80’s Restaurant in Hazleton. The event is being sponsored by Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton and it is open for any woman to attend.

“The woman’s networking committee is very excited to continue to offer our luncheon programs for 2024. We will continue to keep our topics up to date and related to women and business.” explains Leann Fallabel, Vice President of Marketing of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce.

The program will begin promptly at 12 noon and will include lunch. Our guest speaker will be Lisa Wolk, RDN, LDN, Supervisor of Mindfulness Programs, MBSR and Mindfulness Educator LVHN CFM from Lehigh Valley Health Network. She will be presenting on Mindfulness in Everyday Life. This will be an introduction to mindfulness with experiential practice and suggestions on how we can bring mindful living into our everyday lives.

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Holiday Social will take place on Thursday, December 14th from 5 pm to 7 pm. This event is being hosted by the Hazleton Art League, located at 31 W. Broad Street in Downtown Hazleton. The event is being sponsored by MMI Preparatory School and SERVPRO.
Attendees will judge the recipients of the Annual Tree Decorating Contest at the event. The deadline to submit your tree photos to be entered into the contest is this Friday, December 8th.
