The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Holiday Social will take place on Thursday, December 14th from 5 pm to 7 pm. This event is being hosted by the Hazleton Art League, located at 31 W. Broad Street in Downtown Hazleton. The event is being sponsored by MMI Preparatory School and SERVPRO.
Attendees will judge the recipients of the Annual Tree Decorating Contest at the event. The deadline to submit your tree photos to be entered into the contest is this Friday, December 8th. Photos can be emailed to . Prizes include “4Skip” one-month digital billboard advertising on Route 93 & 309 $600 value provided by Lex & Jen Sloot, Media Center LLC; Advertising package on The River 105 & 103.5. All copywriting and production included in the package and commercials must run prior to March 30, 2023 $750 value provided by The River 105 & 103.5 FM. Rock. Radio; SSPTV text video greeting including business name & address with holiday greeting, over $500 value; 1/2 page ad in Panorama Magazine, $425 value; Commercial Ad and Air time at WYLN, $500 value; 5 complimentary Women’s Networking Luncheon certificates in 2024.
Ladies will enjoy an array of food including a signature dip from Acacia Nay's Catering which is located in the Hazleton Kitchen Incubator, powered by THinC, as well as Downtown Hazleton's very own Carmen's Bakery & Deli and local wine from Honey Hole Winery in Drums.
The Art League will be offering an interactive scavenger hunt and a create your own Christmas ornament station. A 50/50 drawing will take place as well as beautiful holiday raffle prizes, both of which will benefit the Chamber’s Women's Empowerment Grant fund.
In addition, businesses are asked to bring brochures, pamphlets, etc. that will be displayed on a “business resource table” so that others in attendance can learn more about your business.
