The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce recently announced that the 2024-2026 edition of its biennial Image Book has been released and a copy is in the mail and on its way to every Chamber member.

The Image Book, which is produced every two years, is the Chamber's number one publication and serves as a guide to the Greater Hazleton region. The new issue of the Image Book is the largest edition in the history of the publication. It is packed with 136 pages worth of information that businesses and individuals need to live, work and play in Greater Hazleton.

Chamber President Mary Malone said, “The Image Book is a multifunctional piece for local businesses, residents and newcomers alike. It’s the perfect one stop shop to see how our community works. The new faces in leadership you see on the cover herald the transitions and transformation that are moving through the Greater Hazleton area today. Northeastern PA has been named the number one area in job creation for consecutive quarters and our community is at the core of this achievement. The transition, transformation and growth in all business sectors is creating fantastic energy in our community that you can see and feel.”

The Image Book contains information on the region's business and industry sector, including articles on companies that have opened new facilities or expanded their operations in the area and an update on the progress of multiple development companies that are working on new projects that will bring more jobs to our area over the next several years. It also provides information on Greater Hazleton's real estate market and education options ranging from preschool all the way to college, a look back at the history of the region, where to find places of worship across a wide range of denominations, the many places to go to explore the area's rich arts and cultural and recreation outlets, a list of the area's most popular annual community events, the exceptional health care facilities that are located right in Greater Hazleton, the latest news and offerings from the Chamber, and a guide to the best shopping and dining locations in the area.

The categorized “Buyer’s Guide” section at the back of the book is a handy reference for readers to find Chamber businesses to support. Additionally, several easy-to-read charts highlight key information and important facts that make the area stand out.

This valuable community guide and reference book is mailed to nearly a thousand businesses throughout the area, is handed out to all attendees at the Chamber's annual dinner, and will be distributed by the Chamber and other businesses throughout the next two years.

The Chamber uses the Image Book as the primary way to promote Greater Hazleton to new residents, commercial and residential real estate agents, industries, businesses, national site selectors, purchasing agents, professionals and key decision makers, as well as new companies and prospective industries.

An interactive, electronic version of the book is posted on the Chamber’s website for anyone to view or download at hazletonchamber.org.

Precision Design, a local marketing, public relations, advertising and web design firm, designs the entire Image Book from cover to cover and coordinates all the advertising sales for the publication. Precision Design, which is the official publisher of the Chamber, has been publishing the Image Book biannually since 2004.

Are you aware of new businesses or individuals who could benefit from information in the book? Call the Chamber at 570-455-1509, ext. 101.
