The team comprised of players from White Birch Golf Course, Bob Gorski, Randy Kurzinsky, Bobby Hillibush and Hayden Jones took the Chamber’s Championship flight award during the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce 57^nd Annual Golf Tournament held Thursday, August 15^th at Sugarloaf Golf Course in Sugarloaf.

152 golfers took part in the tournament which featured trophies, prizes and awards.

Other winners included first flight winners representing Wendy’s Restaurant included Marybeth Hayden, Alicia Hayden, John Spevak and Scott Burkhardt. Second Flight Winners representing Edgewood included Joe Jajewski, Josh Flaim, Zane Writer and Mike Sist. Men’s Longest Drive was won by Joe Gomba; Women’s Longest Drive was won by Denise Kaschak; Closest to the Pin was won by Mike Yemola and Closest to the Pin Second Shot on the Green was won by Mike Dimare. A cash consollation prize was given to Tim Bodman who putted his way to the final $5,000 putt attempt.
