The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is hosting a holiday decorating contest with media package prizes, and winners will be announced at the Women’s Holiday Social on Thursday, December 12th.

All members are encouraged to enter the annual decorating contest. Applications are due by Monday, December 9th. Applications are available on the Chamber website www.hazletonchamber.org or email to request an application. Prizes include: $1000 advertising package from your choice of Magic 105.5 or am 1410 WLSH Radio; $750 advertising package on The River 105 & 103.5 Radio; $500 advertising package for WYLN TV 35; $425 1/2 page ad in Panorama Magazine; $350 Mix it Up Ad Package, 3 ads in 3 editions including a 1/2 page ad, a 1/4 page ad & an 1/8 page ad in The Anthracite Post Local Community Newspaper print & digital editions; and 5 complimentary reservations for any Chamber Women’s Networking Luncheons in 2025.

 

As stated, winners will then be announced at the Annual Women’s Holiday Social which is taking place on Thursday, December 12th at Four Blooms Restaurant on Route 309 in Drums from 5 pm to 7 pm. The event is being sponsored by Sordoni Construction Services Inc.

All women throughout Greater Hazleton are invited to attend. Everyone will enjoy a delicious array of hors d' oeuvres, along with a cash bar including some fun holiday drink specials. Attendees will judge the decorating contest contestants and one business will win the "Peoples Choice Award". Entertainment provided by ALV Karaoke and DJ Services and photo booth fun by Party on Us Rentals. Interactive holiday games will take place for a chance to win holiday prizes. Holiday Tricky tray drawings and 50/50 raffle will benefit the Women's Empowerment Grant. In addition, attendees asked to bring brochures, pamphlets, etc. that will be displayed on a “business resource table” so that others in attendance can learn more about your business.
