The Greater Hazleton Chamber is happy to announce the kick off to the Red Carpet series for 2025 on Tuesday, January 21st. This year our kick off to the yearly series is with a twist, because we are doing a luncheon at a unique, must see location, for the City of Hazleton.
The Honorable Hazleton Mayor Jeff Cusat will update the business community of this past year happenings and the lineup for what is coming in 2025 in the City of Hazleton. Attendees will also have the opportunity for a question and answer session at the end of his presentation. The luncheon program will take place at the John M. Ford Bus Storage & Maintenance Facility located at 5200 Old Airport Road in Hazle Township.
The program will begin at 11:45 am and conclude at 1:00 pm. A taste of Hazleton will be served with Hazleton area favorites. The cost is $30 for chamber members and $38 for non-chamber members. Chamber members and guests who would like to attend should contact the chamber office at 570-455-1509, ext. 101 or register online by this Friday, January 17th. Seating is limited and on a first come-first served basis. Reservations are required.
“We look forward to kicking off our series with the Mayor each year in order to hear about each of the city services and plans for exciting things to look forward to in 2025.” noted Mary Malone, President of the Hazleton Chamber. The location for the kick off event this year is a chance to see the $26 million dollar, state of the art, John M. Ford facility. Public Transit is key to the vital workings of our community and this will also be the chance for our members to see the location.
The Red Carpet programs are conducted monthly by the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce as a way of providing information to the local business community and offers new and expanded business networking opportunities. Those in attendance will also be introduced to the work of the event sponsor Barry Isset & Associates, Inc., who is also making an impact in our area through various projects. Attendees are encouraged to participate in the business card drop for a chance to win a free breakfast to be used at a future Red Carpet event.
