Each year the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce publishes a comprehensive survey of area wages and benefits. This has proven to be a beneficial negotiating tool for area industries.
Joseph Lettiere, vice president of CAN DO said, "The chamber's wage and salary survey has been a vital tool CAN DO has used for years in the recruitment of industry to the community. The survey goes beyond what is available publicly to provide valuable insight regarding the wage rates and benefits of the local workforce."
Mary R. Malone, chamber president added “The annual wage and salary survey that we coordinate is a key example of the chamber’s mission statement to provide our members with information for their business success. The timely and local information is an important tool for employers in our area to continue to attract a talented workforce. Whether manufacturing or small business the information on trends and scales in the Greater Hazleton area is a great resource.”
Copies of the survey are now available. The chamber will have them available for purchase at the 20th annual Greater Hazleton Job Fair, which will take place at Genetti Catering, 1345 N.
