It’s hard for everyone to “let go” of a classic Disney movie; that’s why Funfest is bringing one back for a special showing.
Back by popular demand, a Sing-Along Movie and Breakfast fundraiser featuring Disney’s mega-hit Frozen will be held on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 9 a.m. The event is hosted by the Cinema & Drafthouse, 31 West Broad Street in West Hazleton, and all proceeds benefit Funfest 2017, which is set for Sept. 9 and 10 in downtown Hazleton.
Tickets can be purchased now for the discounted rate of $20 per person by visiting the Cinema & Drafthouse or ordering online at the Chamber’s event page. Tickets will be $25 per person after Feb. 22, and $30 at the door.
The ticket price includes a full breakfast with movie to follow, a special souvenir cup for all children and a chance to take your picture with Elsa, Anna and Olaf. Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite movie character or princess and parents are invited to bring their own cameras.
“We had such an incredible response from the community the first time we held this event that we wanted to bring it back,” Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce President Mary Malone said. “It’s a really great way to bring the Greater Hazleton community together for some family fun at an amazing family-run theater, and a chance to beat the winter blues. Sybil and Tony at the Cinema & Drafthouse have always opened their doors to us, and we could not be more thankful for their partnership. This is the first in a series of events we will be having, with our annual visit from The Poets coming up on March 26, as we count down to Funfest 2017 on Sept. 9 and 10. We can’t wait to see everyone at the movie and breakfast.”
