The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering a seminar entitled Spanish Language Sales Power: Don't Let Your Business Get Lost in the Translation on Wednesday, March 29th.

Maria Jacketti, CEO of Mountain Laurel Copywriting and Content Creation will teach business professionals how translating their business ads and other business materials into Spanish can widen the reach of their business/organization. They will learn how to tap into the Spanish-speaking market sooner - rather than later, and reap the benefits.

According to the US Census, the USA will have more speakers of Spanish than any other country on Earth, including Mexico and Spain by the year 2050! Not surprisingly, and not unlike many areas of the country, Spanish is spoken and read widely in the Greater Hazleton Area right now, presenting both challenges and opportunities for English-only speaking businesses and organizations.

The seminar is sponsored by a new member of the Chamber, GTI. The seminar will be from 9 am to 10 am at the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce office, 20 W. Broad Street in Downtown Hazleton.
