The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is holding their second in a series of woman’s networking luncheon programs for 2018 Tuesday, March 27th from 12 noon to 1 pm at Ovalon Restaurant, 252 N. Wyoming Street in Hazleton. The event is being sponsored by Lawn Specialties and it is open for any woman to attend. 

The program will begin promptly at 12 noon and will include a buffet style lunch. Our guest speaker is Michael J. Mahoney, DO, a provider of Lehigh Valley Physician Group–Hazleton, who will present on the benefits of robotic surgery. He will also touch on varicose vein treatment and general surgery.

Dooprize drawings including, a free lunch for the next program and the opportunity to give an introduction of your business at the event will be drawn. Women are encouraged to bring along promotional items, such as business cards, brochures, giveaways, etc. to display on our business resource table. 

 

Additional bi-monthly luncheon programs for the remainder of the year have been set for Tuesdays, May 22nd; July 31st, September 25th; and November 27th. 

The cost to attend the luncheon program is $18.00 for Chamber members and $25.00 for non Chamber members and the fee will be collected at the door. In other women’s networking news, The 12th Annual Ladies Night Out event, which is also open for any women in the Greater Hazleton area to attend will take place on Wednesday, April 4th from 5:30 pm to 8 pm at Edgewood by Sand Springs in Drums. The theme is an evening of networking, relaxation, shopping & self-indulgence for ALL women from throughout Greater Hazleton! An expo will featuring over 28 businesses geared toward women will be offering information, cash & carry items, sampling of services, demonstrations, giveaways, coupons & more!
