The team comprised of players from The Law Offices of Skokoski & DeCosmo, P.C., Charles DeCosmo, Greg Passon, Chris Sallemi and Jay Sallemi took the Chamber’s Championship flight award during the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce 52nd Annual Golf Tournament held Thursday, August 15th at Split Rock Golf Club in Lake Harmony.

120 golfers took part in the tournament which featured trophies, prizes and awards valued at over $15,000.00.

 

Other winners included first flight winners representing Merrill Lynch - Butera Jordan Bender Group included Steve Jordan, Keith Robak, Mandie Hendricks and Stephen Hudacek. Second Flight Winners representing SWM Logistics and PeneTeleData included Scott Mummey, Ted Emerick, Joe Russo and Mike Labuda. Closest to the Pin was won by Steve Cook golfing with Community Bank, N.A. Closest to the Pin 2nd Shot on the Green was won by Chris Sallemi golfing with The Law Offices of Skokoski & DeCosmo, P.C.. Women’s Longest Drive award was won by Mary Walters golfing with Workforce Resources and the Men’s Longest Drive award was won by Zane Writer golfing with Sand Springs Country Club. Rocco Colangelo Jr. sponsored the trophies for the winners and special competitions in honor of his father Rocco Colangelo, Sr. A cash consollation prize was given to Jay Sallemi who golfed with The Law Offices of Skokoski & DeCosmo, P.C. who putted his way to the final $5,000 putt attempt.

A $5,000 cash prize was awarded to Jim Roccograndi who golfed with Len Mudlock State Farm. Jim had a hole in one on hole number 16, the grand prize hole.
