Event Will Feature a Do It Yourself Workshop

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee invites all women from throughout Greater Hazleton to celebrate International Women’s Day next Wednesday, March 18th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Smith Floral Company, located at 555 N. Broad Street in West Hazleton. The event will feature networking, hors d’ oeuvres, beverages, and a Do It Yourself Workshop including a take-home colorful spring flower arrangement!

Gather your employees, co-workers, friends and guests. A door prize drawing and a 50/50 raffle will take place to benefit our Women's Empowerment Grant. Everyone is also encouraged to bring your business cards, brochures, coupons or giveaways to share on our "Business Resource Table".

 

There is a $10.00 registration fee for Chamber members and a $15.00 registration fee for non Chamber members. Proceeds will benefit the annual Women’s Empowerment Grant fund.

In other upcoming Women’s Networking new, a luncheon program will take place on Tuesday, March 31^st at the Brass Buckle Restaurant in Conyngham from 12 noon to 1 pm. The guest speaker is Bill Spear, R.Ph, CCN, Clinical Pharmacist and Clinical Nutritionist of Hazle Drugs and he will discuss the Health Benefits of CBD. In addition, the 14^th Annual Ladies Night Out event sponsored by Lehigh Valley Hospital – Hazleton, is taking place on Thursday, April 2^nd at The Pines Eatery & Spirits in Downtown Hazleton. Applications are now being accepted to participate in the business expo portion of this event. These businesses will have the opportunity to showcase and sell their products and services, as well as provide demonstrations or samples to an audience of professional businesswomen from the Greater Hazleton area.
