The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering a program entitled Coronavirus Continuity Plan Tuesday, March 24th.

The coronavirus outbreak may have originated in China, but it has developed into not only a global health crisis but is also proving to be a business challenge for myriads of U.S. companies that are located in affected areas, or supply chain disruptions. In fact, a World Health Organization has declared coronavirus an epidemic and international public health emergency, and less than half the companies in the world have any business continuity plans in place to deal with emergencies such as the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.

An outbreak can affect your customers, employees, reputation, and ultimately your revenue. In this seminar, we will cover the business-side of exposure. Before you can strategize your pandemic plan, you need to know what specific contingencies you’re preparing for. We’ll look at the many aspects of your business that could be affected by a pandemic:

The Effect of a Pandemic on Your Employees; The Effect of a Pandemic on Your Customers; The Effect of a Pandemic on Your Business; The Effect of Your Business in a Pandemic; A Working Table Top Exercise - Walk Away with the Requirements for Your Business (we’ll provide you with a checklist for a Coronavirus preparedness plan and explore everything your business needs to know about a viral outbreak); Pandemic Plan Strategies.

The seminar will take place on Tuesday, March 24th from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce office, located at 8 W. Broad Street, Mezzanine Level, in Downtown Hazleton. Registration is $10 for Chamber members and $15 for non Chamber members. Registration is required by registering on the Chamber’s online calendar at www.hazletonchamber.org or by contacting the Chamber at 455-1509 or .
