The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering a seminar entitled Business Succession Planning next Wednesday, March 18th.
This program will walk business owners through some of the concerns they may have in planning for the continuation or disposition of their business interests and estate taxes. And will also look at some of the things that might be considered to alleviate business owners concerns. Particular topics discussed include: types of assets and property, forms of businesses and tax implications, valuing your business, buy-sell agreements and wills, trusts and gifts.
The seminar will take place on Wednesday, March 18th from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce office, located at 8 W. Broad Street, Mezzanine Level, in Downtown Hazleton. It is being presented by Laura Sullivan and Chris Crosley, Financial Service Professionals for MassMutual Eastern Pennsylvania. Registration is $10 for Chamber members and $15 for non Chamber members.
