Chamber Women’s Summer Mixer to Take Place at Top of the 80’s Restaurant

womens summer promo pic resized The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee invites all women from throughout Greater Hazleton to a “Summer Networking Mixer” on Wednesday, July 18th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Top of the 80’s Restaurant, located at 3 Top of the 80’s Road in Hazleton. Women’s events provide an excellent opportunity to share your business and services with other businesswomen from throughout the area, meet new contacts and re-connect with old ones, in a casual atmosphere.

Women will gather for a relaxing evening on the outdoor patio overlooking the beautiful Conyngham/Drums valley. An array of complimentary hors d’ oeuvres will be provided and drink specials will be available. A doorprize drawing and a 50/50 raffle will take place to benefit our Women's Empowerment Grant. Everyone is also encouraged to bring your business cards, brochures, coupons or giveaways to share on our "Business Resource Table"

Hazleton Eye Specialists to Host Chamber Mixer

Hazleton Eye Specialists is hosting an exclusive Networking Mixer for members of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce for the month of July on Thursday, July 12th from 5 pm to 7 pm. Hazleton Eye Specialists is located at 281 Airport Road in Hazle Township. Chamber members, their employees, co-workers and guests are invited to this free, casual, after-hours event, which provides a networking opportunity for the business community.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the team and enjoy beer, wine and an array of complimentary hors d' oeuvres.

Chamber to Conduct New Member Gathering This Thursday

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce invites all chamber members and their employees who have joined the organization within the last year, any new employee to an existing Chamber member business or anyone who wants to learn more about the services and events the Chamber has to offer local businesses, to an Annual New Member Gathering. The event is taking place at the Hampton Inn,
1 Top of the 80’s Road in Hazleton, this Thursday, June 21st from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Chamber Hosting CPR, First Aid and AED Certification

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering certification on CPR, First Aid and AED on Friday, June 15th.

Employers are required by OSHA to provide medical and first aid personnel and supplies commensurate with the hazards of the workplace. This course combines lecture, video, demonstrations and hands-on manikin training, and teaches participants to: call and work with EMS; perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies; avoid blood borne pathogens exposure; and know the role of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in the Cardiac Chain of Survival. Upon completion, students receive a certificate and wallet size certificate certifying training of First Aid, CPR and AED.
