Continuing with the chamber’s legislative series, PA Senator John Yudichak, representing the 14th Senatorial District will address the business community on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Red Carpet Breakfast program. He will discuss business and industry related news affecting the Greater Hazleton area community with a spotlight on the Luzerne County “SHINE” program. Attendees will also have the opportunity for a question and answer session at the end of his presentation. “Attracting and retaining quality manufacturing companies like IRIS, Highwood USA, and Hershey requires a collective effort centered on workforce Development. The Greater Hazleton area and its business community have embraced this approach with their unwavering support of innovative educational initiatives like the Hazleton Area Academy of Sciences, and the Luzerne County SHINE program. The one-day cleanup will be conducted Saturday, April 21, 2018 rain or shine.
