Janet M. Jones, Professional Development Specialist at Lackawanna College explains, “This interactive training is designed for all supervisors and leaders. She encourages attendees to come prepared to be engaged and enlightened by impactful leadership practices for the quick paced challenges that innovative and successful companies face in today’s world of work.”
Three sessions will take place throughout April. Leading from Organizational Missions and Values on Friday, April 6th; Communication Tools for Today’s Leaders on Friday, April 13th and Leading Others – Keys to Successful Relationships on Friday, April 27th.

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is holding their second in a series of woman’s networking luncheon programs for 2018 Tuesday, March 27th from 12 noon to 1 pm at Ovalon Restaurant, 252 N. Wyoming Street in Hazleton. The event is being sponsored by Lawn Specialties and it is open for any woman to attend.
The program will begin promptly at 12 noon and will include a buffet style lunch. Our guest speaker is Michael J. Mahoney, DO, a provider of Lehigh Valley Physician Group–Hazleton, who will present on the benefits of robotic surgery. He will also touch on varicose vein treatment and general surgery.
Dooprize drawings including, a free lunch for the next program and the opportunity to give an introduction of your business at the event will be drawn. Women are encouraged to bring along promotional items, such as business cards, brochures, giveaways, etc. to display on our business resource table.

The 22nd Annual Greater Hazleton Job Fair is ON for today, Thursday, March 22nd from 10 am to 4 pm at Genetti Ballrooms on Route 309 in Hazle Township. 50 businesses will be present.
