Start Your Own Business Seminar: Week 2 POSTPONED FOR THIS EVENING

Due to the weather and our presenter having to travel a distance, we have decided to postpone our Starting Your Business Seminar for this evening, Tuesday, January 31, 2017.

We will add another week and this session will be rescheduled for Tuesday, February 28th from 5 pm to 6 pm at our Chamber office.

Chamber Mixer Taking Place at Sophy Jewelers Inside the Laurel Mall

Sophy Jewelers is sponsoring an exclusive Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Networking Mixer on Thursday, February 2nd from 5 pm to 7 pm. The mixer will take place at Hazleton location inside the Laurel Mall, Hazleton.

Chamber members, their employees, co-workers and guests are invited to this free, casual, after-hours event, which provides a networking opportunity for the Greater Hazleton Area business community.

Start Your Own Business Seminar Series Begins Tuesday

A 5-Part Entrepreneur Seminar Series on Steps to Starting Your Own Business begins this Tuesday, January 24th and will run every Tuesday, with the last seminar taking place on February 21st.

Each seminar will offer different topics on starting your own business and all of the programs are provided at no cost. Topics and dates are as follows: Tuesday, January 24th: Is Entrepreneurship for You?; Tuesday, January 31st: What’s the Plan? Developing a Business Plan; Tuesday, February 7th: Making it Legal. Structure, Licensing & Registration; Tuesday, February 14th: Show Me the Money! Financing Your Business and Tuesday, February 21st: Paying Uncle Sam. Filing & Paying Taxes.
