PA State Senator John Yudichak to Speak at Red Carpet Breakfast

Continuing with the chamber’s legislative series, PA Senator John Yudichak, representing the 14th Senatorial District will address the business community on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Red Carpet Breakfast program. He will discuss business and industry related news affecting the Greater Hazleton area community with a spotlight on the Luzerne County “SHINE” program. Attendees will also have the opportunity for a question and answer session at the end of his presentation. “Attracting and retaining quality manufacturing companies like IRIS, Highwood USA, and Hershey requires a collective effort centered on workforce Development. The Greater Hazleton area and its business community have embraced this approach with their unwavering support of innovative educational initiatives like the Hazleton Area Academy of Sciences, and the Luzerne County SHINE program. As a result, our students are acquiring 21st-sentgury advanced manufacturing skills, such as 3-D printing , which will allow them to compete for and secure family sustaining jobs in the future, “ said Senator John Yudichak. Chamber Recruiting Volunteers for the "Great Pennsylvania Cleanup in Greater Hazleton"

Great PA Cleanup The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce, along with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will once again sponsor the "Great Pennsylvania Cleanup” campaign. The one-day cleanup will be conducted Saturday, April 21, 2018 rain or shine. "The Great Pennsylvania Cleanup" is a statewide effort designed to encourage concerned citizens and groups to participate in a meaningful community beautification effort. The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is the local coordinator for the Greater Hazleton Area.

Chamber and Lackawanna College Hazleton Center to Offer Train the Trainer Program

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce and the Lackawanna College Continuing Education Department are offering a Train the Trainer program on Tuesday, April 24th. The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce and the Lackawanna College Continuing Education Department are offering a Train the Trainer program on Tuesday, April 24th.

Train the Trainer provides an opportunity to learn what composes effective training and how to incorporate those principles into your training programs. Learn to design and deliver effective training that is well received, readily understood, and results in participant learning. You'll engage learners with differing styles and create a positive learning environment. A reliable set of tools and techniques will be provided that you can use in any training situation.

Chamber Creates Partnership with Lackawanna College Hazleton Center to Offer Seminar Series on Leadership

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce and the Lackawanna College Continuing Education Department are offering a series of seminars on Leadership in the month of April.

Janet M. Jones, Professional Development Specialist at Lackawanna College explains, “This interactive training is designed for all supervisors and leaders. She encourages attendees to come prepared to be engaged and enlightened by impactful leadership practices for the quick paced challenges that innovative and successful companies face in today’s world of work.”

Three sessions will take place throughout April. Leading from Organizational Missions and Values on Friday, April 6th; Communication Tools for Today’s Leaders on Friday, April 13th and Leading Others – Keys to Successful Relationships on Friday, April 27th.

Chamber to Host a Woman’s Luncheon March 27th

Women's Luncheon The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is holding their second in a series of woman’s networking luncheon programs for 2018 Tuesday, March 27th from 12 noon to 1 pm at Ovalon Restaurant, 252 N. Wyoming Street in Hazleton. The event is being sponsored by Lawn Specialties and it is open for any woman to attend.

The program will begin promptly at 12 noon and will include a buffet style lunch. Our guest speaker is Michael J. Mahoney, DO, a provider of Lehigh Valley Physician Group–Hazleton, who will present on the benefits of robotic surgery. He will also touch on varicose vein treatment and general surgery.

Dooprize drawings including, a free lunch for the next program and the opportunity to give an introduction of your business at the event will be drawn. Chamber Invites All Women to 12th Annual Ladies Night Out

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is hosting their 12th Annual Ladies Night Out and all women from throughout the Greater Hazleton Area are invited to attend. The event, sponsored by Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton and Edgewood by Sand Springs, will take place on Wednesday, April 4th from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Edgewood by Sand Springs in Drums.

Chamber Hosting Seminar on Managing Cash Flow for Small Business

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering a seminar on Managing Cash Flow for Small Businesses on Thursday, March 1st.

Cindy Milan-Ortiz, Assistant Branch Manager of Woodforest National Bank will present Managing Cash Flow for Small Business. Sessions objectives include: describing the purpose of cash flow management in a start-up business; assessing a cash flow cycle and cash flow projections; describing how a cash flow statement can help assess and improve the financial health of a start-up; identifying ways to manage cash flow in terms of managing costs and potential income; and identifying ways to seek out expert technical assistance to improve cash flow management.

Officials coordinating the Greater Hazleton Job Fair 2018 have announced that the event, scheduled for Thursday, March 22nd has 38 businesses participating to date and there is limited space remaining for additional businesses.

Chamber Seeking Businesses to Participate in Annual Job Fair

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is seeking businesses to participate in the 2018 Greater Hazleton Job Fair set for Thursday, March 22nd . The job fair will be held at Genetti Ballrooms on Route 309 in Hazleton from 10 am to 4 pm.

Chamber Women’s Networking Committee Holiday Mixer Will be Held at Four Blooms Restaurant

Women's Holiday Social The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Holiday Committee announces its Holiday Mixer for Wednesday, December 13th at Four Blooms Restaurant from 5pm to 8 pm.

MMI preparatory School is the sponsor of this year’s Women Networking Holiday Social which is being hosted at the new Four Blooms Restaurant in Drums. Four Blooms opened its doors in October of this year and they are excited about displaying the talents of their Chef with tasty complimentary hors d’ oeuvres. A cash bar will be provided and includes a holiday themed signature drink for your enjoyment. The Women’s Holiday mixer gives everyone a great opportunity to mix, mingle and network during the holiday season, put out information about their business at the Business Resource Table, as well as take chances on some tricky tray baskets provided by members of the Women’s networking committee, as well as a 50/50 raffle for those in attendance. Donna Barna and the team at Billig & Helmes Insurance will provide each guest a combative favor for the event. Chamber Holiday Social to be Held at the YWCA of Hazleton

Downtown Holiday Social The Hazleton area business community and chamber members and guests are invited to take part in the 22nd annual Greater Hazleton Holiday Social, which will take place at the YWCA of Hazleton, 75 S. Church Street, Downtown Hazleton on Thursday, December 7th.

The mixer, coordinated by the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce will provide a unique opportunity to share holiday spirit with friends, neighbors and colleagues from the local business community.

Women's Luncheon The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is holding their final woman’s networking luncheon program on Tuesday, November 28th from 12 noon to 1 pm at The TAP at Humboldt Beer Depot, located 573 CAN DO Expressway in Hazle Township. The event is being sponsored by M&T Bank and is open to all women in Greater Hazleton.

The luncheon is the sixth and final in a series of luncheon programs for 2017. The luncheons were held every other month. The series is scheduled to being again on January 30th, 2018. The program begins promptly at 12 noon and includes a buffet style lunch. The guest speaker is Molly Sweeney, MS, RDN, LDN, Outpatient Nutrition at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Hazleton, who is presenting on Staying Fit Over the Holiday Season. She will talk about how it is possible to eat healthy over the holiday season, while still being able to have the goodies you want. She will also be providing samples of different healthy dips.

Chamber Women’s Networking Committee Seeking Candidates for Annual Holiday Decorating Contest

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Holiday Decorating Contest committee has announced their 13th Annual Holiday Decorating Contest with a new twist for 2017.

The focus of the contest this year will be just one holiday tree. The evergreen fir tree has traditionally been used to celebrate winter festivals (pagan and Christian) for thousands of years. Pagans used branches of it to decorate their homes during the winter solstice, as it made them think of the spring to come. The Romans used Fir Trees to decorate their temples at the festival of Saturnalia. Christians use it as a sign of everlasting life with God. Anne Frey of DBI Services, and decorating committee chair noted “ We decided that focusing on just one tree for the decorating contest this year would level the field from small to large business as well as unleash the creativity of our members”. “Our volunteer judges enjoy the process and hope to encourage more businesses to join in the fun.”, stated Anne.

The Community Awareness Committee of the Greater Hazleton of Commerce invites the public to attend the 10th Annual Tastes of Greater Hazleton, which will be held this Sunday, October 15th from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm at the Health & Wellness Center at Hazleton located on 50 Moisey Drive.

Tickets are $18.00 in advance, online only at www.hazletonchamber.org and $20 at the door.

Three cooking demonstrations will take place at the event. Chef Rob Middleton from Top of the 80’s Restaurant will start things off, followed by Chef Steve Foley and Jerry Seiwell from Brass Buckle Restaurant and the final demonstration will be Renee Esposito Chirico from Alta Pizzeria & Pasta House.

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of their Annual 2017 Business and Community Awards. In an attempt to help promote October as “Chamber of Commerce” month, the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce will hold a special awards luncheon, sponsored by Community Bank, NA, to recognize the winners of the awards. Chamber Announces Menu for their Upcoming Tastes of Greater Hazleton Event

The Community Awareness Committee of the Greater Hazleton of Commerce invites the public to attend the 10th Annual Tastes of Greater Hazleton, which will be held Sunday, October 15th from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm at the Health & Wellness Center at Hazleton located on 50 Moisey Drive in Hazle Township.

Event coordinators have announced that three cooking demonstrations will take place at the event and they will be provided by the Brass Buckle, Alta Pizzeria & Pasta House and Top of the 80s Restaurant

According to Anna Jean Onuschak of Top of the 80s Restaurant, event chairwoman, “We are thrilled to feature these three very talented, local chefs and restaurant owners at our event. The attendees really look forward to seeing what they have to prepare and then having the chance to sample their dishes”

The event will feature a sampling of signature dishes and products from sixteen participating restaurants and businesses from throughout Greater Hazleton. Restaurants and their menus include:

They are both located in Downtown Hazleton at 109 West Broad Street. Attendees will first visit the SSPTV studio on the main floor, take a studio tour and have their photo taken in front of the green screen with a fall foliage background of their choice. They will then be able to view the photos on the free SSPTV app, which can be downloaded from any device.

Mixer attendees will then move upstairs to Community Services for Sight community room and enjoy wine tastings, a beautiful display of hors d’ oeuvres and networking. Members will have the opportunity to hear about the services both organizations provide to the community.

The 3rd Annual Anniversary Membership Celebration will take place on Thursday, October 5th. The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking committee has recently awarded their ninth annual Women’s Empowerment Grants. This grant was established to encourage women to pursue training or education that will help them start or advance a career. The target of the grant is women who are currently working and want to advance in their career through education or training; are returning to the workforce; or are seeking to change their current career path.

Each of these aspects plays an important role in mitigating risk. You will understand how PDV and Function Testing can help to decrease absenteeism and presenteeism, increase productivity, decrease injury rates and be an essential part of your safety and wellness strategy.

Hazle Township Supervisor Jim Montone to Speak at Red Carpet Breakfast

Continuing with the chamber’s legislative series, Hazle Township Supervisor and Chairman Jim Montone will address the business community on September 21st at the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Red Carpet Breakfast program. He will provide an update of the township’s current and future projects. Attendees will also have the opportunity for a question and answer session at the end of his presentation. The breakfast program is hosted by Bonanza Steakhouse, 574 Susquehanna Blvd., located across from the Laurel Mall in Hazle Township.

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering a seminar on Time Management for Small Businesses on Thursday, September 7th. Cindy Milan-Ortiz, Assistant Branch Manager at Woodforest National Bank will discuss the concept of time management, why it is important to small businesses and how you can benefit from using time management.

She will also explain some commonly employed time management practices, including Pareto analysis, the ABC method, the Eisenhower method and the POSEC method and how you can incorporate any of these methods easily into your daily business routine.

The shotgun start tournament is scheduled to take place at Edgewood in Drums at 11 am. Downtown Hazleton Farmer’s Market Opens This Friday, July 14

The Downtown Hazleton Farmer's Market will kick off its sixth year this Friday, July 14th and continue every Friday through September 1st. The market hours are 10 am to 2 pm. The market will take place at the corner of Broad and Laurel Streets along the new city park.

This year’s vendors include Burger’s Farm Market, offering fresh produce along with their famous sweet corn; Sugar & Loaf Bakery, offering homemade breads and other baked goods, Keiner’s Nursery & Apiary, offering plants, locally produced honey, and other honey-made products; and the Butler Township Community Garden (“Growing Markets” program), offering all organic produce. Other vendors include the PSU Master Gardeners, who will be on hand to answer all your gardening questions. Several special events are also planned, including free cooking demonstrations featuring local seasonal produce (hosted by the Commission on Economic Opportunity-CEO), as well as entertainment and guest vendors who will be offering special services.

Friday will feature a special kickoff for market and will include DJ Tony Pacelli, who will be spinning tunes from 11 am to 1:30 pm for your lunchtime enjoyment. A ribbon cutting will take place at 10 am with Hazleton Mayor Jeff Cusat in order to celebrate the market opening. The Chamber of Commerce operates the market with the support of the Downtown Hazleton Alliance for Progress. Chamber Women’s Networking Committee Announces Applications Are Available for Women’s Empowerment Grant

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking committee is currently seeking applications for the tenth annual Women’s Empowerment Grant. This grant was established to encourage women to pursue training or education that will help them start or advance a career. The target of the grant is women who are: currently working and want to advance in their career through education or training; returning to the workforce; and/or seeking to change their current career path and pursue something more in line with their
interests or passions. The grant is also intended to be available to those who would not necessarily have access to scholarships or grants. For this reason, graduating high school students will not be eligible to apply for the grant.

Women's Luncheon The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is holding their third a series of woman’s networking luncheon programs for 2017 Tuesday, May 23rd from 12 noon to 1 pm at Vesuvio’s Pizzeria & Restaurant, located at 101 N. Wyoming Street in Downtown Hazleton. The event is being sponsored by MMI Preparatory School and it is open for any woman to attend.

Carla Marie Thaller Selected as Chamber’s 2017 Athena Recipient

2017 Athena Business Woman of the Year Carla Marie Thaller of the Hamister Group, LLC has been selected as the recipient of the 2017 Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Athena Award, sponsored by Berger Family Dealerships.

Carla is the Regional Director Operations, Hotels for the Hamister Group that operations three premier hotels in our area including; Residence Inn by Marriott, Fairfield Inn & Suites and Hampton Inn. She has an award winning hospitality career for over 15 years in positions with impact in the areas of administation, sales, customer service, hotel operations and facilities management.

Ms. Thaller started in her career as a front desk person while she was a full time student at King’s College. She graduated from King’s with a bachelor degree in Accounting and quickly advanced to supervisor and then manager for mutiple properties including Residence Inn by Marriott, Hampton Inn and Fairfield Inn & Suites.

Chamber Icebreaker Golf Outing Winners Announced

The two-man team comprised of Tom Ciccarelli and Matt Diebert from Valley Country Club took the Chamber’s first place award during the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce 13th Annual Icebreaker Golf Outing Friday, April 28th at Mountain Valley Golf Course in Barnesville.

Other winners in the tournament were: Second Place representing Shenandoah Senior Living Community, Tim Scheeler and John Rizzo. Third Place representing DBi Services, Bob Gorski and Joe Boretski.

Chamber Hosting Seminar on 5 Dysfunctions of a Team

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering a seminar entitled 5 Dysfunctions of a Team on Wednesday, April 26th.

Ken Altenbach from Team Building US will introduce the Team Building US 5 Dysfunctions of a Team Program. The program will cover inattention to results, avoidance of accountability, lack of commitment, fear of conflict and absence of trust and it will be followed by Q&A session. Those who should attend include: anyone in a leadership position, anyone who manages a team or anyone aspiring to lead a stronger team.

Lehigh Valley Health Network Hazleton President to Speak at Chamber Breakfast

John Fletcher, president of Lehigh Valley Health Network-Hazleton, will address the business community on Friday, April 21st at the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce monthly Red Carpet Breakfast program. He will discuss their plan for a major expansion of services in the city of Hazleton as well as Hazle and Butler Townships. Mr. Fletcher will elaborate on the networks strategy to focus primarily on outpatient services while maintaining and modernizing the hospital.

Attendees will also have the opportunity for a question and answer session at the end of his presentation. The breakfast program will take place at Genetti Catering in Hazle Township.

Chamber Hosting 13th Annual Icebreaker Golf Outing

Mountain Valley Golf Course will be the site of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce 13th Annual Icebreaker Golf Outing. Geisinger is the premiere sponsor for this event.

The outing is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 28th with an 11am luncheon and a 12 noon tee off. Registration, which is $75 per player and includes a buffet lunch, round of golf with cart, and a drink voucher after the round of play.

Championship and Flight awards will be provided as well as awards for longest drive, longest putt and closest to the pin. Deadline for registrations is Friday, April 21st.

Chamber Hosting Seminar on Social Media Wednesday

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering a seminar entitled The Socializer One this Wednesday, April 12th.

Jeannine Lesante-Mazurkiwecz, VP of Marketing/Sales from Sam-Son Productions Inc will present The Socializer One. Attendees will learn what form of social media are the most effective for their businesses and how video can increase your bottom line. Attendees are asked to bring along their phones or electronic devices since this session will be interactive and engaging.

The seminar will be from 9 am to 10 am at the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce office, 20 W. Broad Street in Downtown Hazleton. Chamber Recruiting Volunteers for the "Great American Cleanup in Greater Hazleton"

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce, along with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will once again sponsor the "Great American Cleanup” campaign. The one-day cleanup will be conducted Saturday, April 22nd. If volunteer groups cannot pick up on the 22nd, they can gather either on Friday the 21st or Sunday the 23rd. Groups are asked to leave bags along the cleaup route and PennDOT and local municipatlies will pick up the bags on Monday, April 24th. Garbage bags, safety vests, gloves a certificate of particpation and some goodies are provided to all the volunteer groups and can be picked up at the Chamber office from 8 am to 5 pm the week of April 17th.

"The Great American Cleanup" is a statewide effort designed to encourage concerned citizens and groups to participate in a meaningful community beautification effort. The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is the local coordinator for the Greater Hazleton Area.

Chambers Invites All Women to 11th Annual Ladies Night Out

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee is hosting their 11th Annual Ladies Night Out and all women from throughout the Greater Hazleton Area are invited to attend. The event, sponsored by Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton and Capriotti’s, will take place on Wednesday, April 5th from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Capriotti’s in McAdoo.

“The theme of the evening is networking, relaxation, shopping & self-indulgence, and we are inviting all women to attend this fun-filled, popular, one-night event”, explains Chamber Vice President of Marketing, Leann Fallabel.

Greater Hazleton Area residents looking for new and/or improved employment opportunities are invited to take part in Greater Hazleton Job Fair 2017, the twenty-first annual free employment exposition taking place Thurday, March 30th at Genetti Ballroooms Route 309 in Hazleton from 10 am to 4 pm.

Chamber Announces Twenty-first Annual Community Reading Day on April 27th

Community Reading Day helps to promote literacy and encourage life-long reading and imagination with our next generation. That’s the message the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is sending through its partnership in the 21st annual Community Reading Day program, supported by Penn State Hazleton. This event will be held on April 27th beginning at 9:30 a.m. in first and second grade classrooms in the Hazleton Area School District, Holy Family Academy and chamber member preschools. Chamber Announces Plans are Underway for Their 125th Anniversary & Executive Business Exposition

125th Chamber Anniversary The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce has announced plans are underway for their 125th Anniversary and Executive Business Exposition, which is taking place on Thursday, May 18th at Genetti Ballrooms in Hazleton from 5 pm to 8 pm. This is the Chamber’s largest event of the year with well over 300 business people in attendance, up to 50 businesses taking part in the expo and over a dozen businesses participating as event sponsors. The presenting sponsor for this year’s event is once again, PPL.

To help celebrate this special anniversary, Chamber officials have completely re-vamped the event, with a fresh, new format for 2017. In order to provide the opportunity for all Chamber members to take part in event, plenty of options are available, whether it is attending with a reservation, participating in the expo or as an event sponsor.

"Athena" Award Nominations Being Accepted by the Chamber

Athena Nominations Nominations for the annual Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce/ Berger Family Dealerships "Athena Award" are now being accepted.

The award is presented annually to the "Businesswoman of the Year" in the Greater Hazleton Area. The presentation, which features a handsome bronze and crystal sculpture, is presented as part of the Chamber’s Annual Meeting and is sponsored by Berger Family Dealerships. This year, the award will be presented on Thursday, May 18th at the 125th Anniversary, to take place at the Genetti’s Ballroom.

The Chamber "Athena" award will be given to the businesswoman who has demonstrated the "highest level of professional accomplishment" and is based primarily on professional competency, achievement and dedication. According to Chamber officials the "Athena" award is not intended to be a civic achievement award, but a meaningful recognition of women as an integral part of the Hazleton Area workplace.

CAN DO to Speak at Chamber Red Carpet Breakfast

CAN DO Kevin O’Donnell, president of Greater Hazleton CAN DO, the area’s economic/industrial corporation, will address the business community on Wednesday, March 22nd at the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Red Carpet Breakfast program. He will discuss the history of the organization as they’ve recently celebrated their 60th anniversary. Mr. O’Donnell will also provide a look into the future of economical and industrial development in the greater Hazleton area. The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is hosting a free informational session for businesses to take advantage of on the free programs and services the American Lung Association provides to the business community, on Tuesday, March 7th.

Chamber Hosting Required Roadway Flagger Certification Training

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is offering Roadway Flagger Certification Training on Thursday, March 9th.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Publication 213 requires that all individuals who have flagging responsibilities on ANY ROAD OPEN TO THE PUBLIC must be certified in compliance with the most current version of Publication 408, Section 901.3 Flagger Training. This requirement applies to anyone performing flagging duties on any public roadway in Pennsylvania.

Officials coordinating the Greater Hazleton Job Fair 2017 have announced that the event, scheduled for Thursday, March 30th has 34 businesses participating to date and there is limited space remaining for additional businesses.

These businesses and institutions will be on hand to provide educational, career and employment opportunities for those in attendance. Local and regional businesses have signed up to participate in the one-day event, which will take place at Genetti Ballrooms on Route 309, Hazleton.

Funfest announces Frozen Movie and Breakfast fundraiser set for Feb. 26

Frozen Movie and Breakfast It’s hard for everyone to “let go” of a classic Disney movie; that’s why Funfest is bringing one back for a special showing.

Back by popular demand, a Sing-Along Movie and Breakfast fundraiser featuring Disney’s mega-hit Frozen will be held on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 9 a.m. The event is hosted by the Cinema & Drafthouse, 31 West Broad Street in West Hazleton, and all proceeds benefit Funfest 2017, which is set for Sept. 9 and 10 in downtown Hazleton.

Start Your Own Business Seminar Series Begins Tuesday

A 5-Part Entrepreneur Seminar Series on Steps to Starting Your Own Business begins this Tuesday, January 24th and will run every Tuesday, with the last seminar taking place on February 21st.

Each seminar will offer different topics on starting your own business and all of the programs are provided at no cost. Chamber Seeking Businesses to Participate in Annual Job Fair

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is seeking businesses to participate in the 2017 Greater Hazleton Job Fair set for Thursday, March 30th. The job fair will be held at Genetti Ballrooms on Route 309 in Hazleton from 10 am to 4 pm.

This one-day event, will provide participating businesses with an informal, yet confidential forum to discuss career opportunities and options with hundreds of individuals from throughout the entire Greater Hazleton Area. Participating employers may accept resumes, offer information about career fields and employment opportunities, conduct interviews, promote your business and also seek for interns, summer employment, full and part time positions.
